Description

The Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development (MECDD) decided in 2008 to entrust the coordination of the COBIMO-LUX scheme to the natur&ëmwelt a.s.b.l. This institution brings together a pool of volunteering field ornithologists. The Common Bird Monitoring Scheme in Luxembourg (COBIMO-LUX) has been developed to evaluate the long-term population trends of common bird species by means of standardized field methods for data collection. For details about the Field methodology of the Common Bird Monitoring in Luxembourg (COBIMO-LUX), we refer to: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/236686754_Field_methodology_of_the_Common_Bird_Monitoring_in_Luxembourg_COBIMO-LUX The occurrence recodes in this dataset were previously contained in the GBIF dataset: Collections and observation data National Museum of Natural History Luxembourg https://www.gbif.org/dataset/962f59bc-f762-11e1-a439-00145eb45e9a

Data Records

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 176,061 records.

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
